About the Session

Presence isn’t charisma. It is a set of trainable habits.

Senior leaders are routinely asked to be convincing in rooms they don’t control — a sceptical board, a merger town hall, a client who has already decided. Most were never taught how, and fall back on volume, detail, or apology.

This is a practical day on the mechanics: how you frame a message so it survives contact with a hostile question, what your voice does under pressure and how to steady it, and the small regulation habits that keep you thinking clearly when the temperature rises.

It is a small room by design — thirty seats — because everyone speaks, several times, and gets specific feedback on video. Expect to be slightly uncomfortable and to leave noticeably better.

What You Leave With

What Changes By Five O’Clock

  • A repeatable structure for framing a message so it lands in under ninety seconds.
  • Direct video feedback on how you currently present, and two specific things to change.
  • Breath and pacing techniques that hold your voice steady under real pressure.
  • A method for handling hostile or derailing questions without losing the room.
  • A personal regulation routine for the ten minutes before a high-stakes conversation.
  • A written development plan with two habits to practise over the following quarter.

Before You Book

Frequently Asked Questions

Will I have to present in front of everyone?

Yes, several times, and you will be filmed. That is the part that produces the change. The room is small and supportive, and by the second round almost everyone has stopped minding.

Is this a public-speaking course?

Not quite. Public speaking is one application. The day is aimed at the everyday rooms senior leaders occupy — board updates, town halls, difficult client conversations, escalations.

Do I get the video of my practice?

You do, sent privately after the session. We delete our copies within 30 days and share nothing with anyone else.

What is the cancellation policy?

Full refund up to 14 days before the event. Within 14 days you may transfer your seat to a colleague or move to the next date at no charge.

Can this be run in-house?

Yes, and it works well as a leadership-team intervention. Use the enquiry form below for a proposal.
