About the Session

Less about the technology. More about the org chart.

The interesting question is no longer what these tools can do. It is what happens to a management structure when a large share of the coordinating and summarising work that justified several layers of it becomes cheap.

This forum brings together executives, HR leaders and board members for an afternoon on the organisational consequences: which roles change shape, how job architecture and career paths hold up, what skills depreciate fastest, and the governance questions boards have started asking that most management teams cannot yet answer.

The format is deliberately conversational — short provocations, long discussion, and a closing roundtable under the Chatham House rule so people can speak plainly about what is happening inside their own organisations.

What You Leave With

What the Afternoon Gives You

  • A structured read on which roles in your organisation change shape first.
  • The governance questions boards are asking, with defensible ways to answer them.
  • A skills half-life view to inform your next capability-development cycle.
  • Job-architecture patterns that survive a significant shift in task mix.
  • Candid peer discussion under the Chatham House rule.
  • A written summary of the roundtable, circulated to attendees only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a technical session?

No. There is no tooling demonstration and no vendor content. The subject is organisational — roles, structures, skills and governance.

What does Chatham House rule mean here?

You may use what you hear, but you may not attribute it to any speaker or organisation. Nothing in the roundtable is recorded, and the written summary is de-identified.

Is attendance by invitation only?

Partly. A portion of seats go to invited board members and executives; the remainder are released publicly in December 2026 and allocated in registration order.

When is the venue confirmed?

Six weeks before the forum, directly to registrants. It will be central Colombo.

Can I send a delegate in my place?

Yes, at any point up to the day itself. Just let the coordinator know the name so the directory and badge are correct.
